The ACF Cypurs project of the month for April 2023 is “For Stronger CSOs: Advocacy and Capacity Building for the Empowerment of CSOs” implemented by Civil Society Advocates.
The main aim of ‘For Stronger CSOs’ is to improve the operational environment for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and to encourage the creation of a more enabling environment for them. Read more about the project here.
Since its launch in September 2022, the project has completed a survey to map the administrative and financial challenged faced by CSOs and has implemented a series of capacity building workshops, based on the survey results, in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and online. For Stronger CSOs has recently launched an awareness raising campaign aiming to provide information and clarity regarding the role of CSOs and their importance in modern society.
